This seems to be my toughest conflict in life right now. Stick with my first thought or go with my second feeling?

Either your total future is already history in your self or you go in faith relying on best information. If your second guess is a correction, you can prepare no better than that; life is risk. Logic is perpetual self correction as new data comes in.
The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

It was always told your first guess is usually the correct or best one. Second guessing is doubting yourself and usually based on some underlying reason(s). Works for me -- especially in multiple choice.

I've heard over and over your first choice is the right choice. So I go with first.

the problem with second guessing is it can paralyze you with fear and indecision. if you take the time to think it you you have to make your decision and go with it.OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it's better to take a shot than wonder later.
