If Gaborik stays healthy they have a chance. The Wild have the highest winning percentage in the NHL the last two seasons when Gaborik plays..........so, let's see what happens if he plays 80 games.

Wild are getting better--but still not in the elite class of teams just yet. Have to see how the season goes without MANNY being around and if the rest of the team can finally stay at least somewhat healthy!
Are moving in the right direction though!

Remember, they play in the Northwest division. If Gaborik is injured, and Backstrom doesn't play well, they might not make the playoffs. But if Gaborik and Backstrom stay healthy and play well, they do have an average chance of winning the Cup.

Definitely not, and I do love the Wild. They are a few years away from a championship. They simply don't have the depth (yet) to go deep into the playoffs.

No. They won't for another 2 or 3 years, once their prospects are developed and Gaborik is healthy. They aren't a favorite this year, but I think they will be in a few years.

I think so & I hope they beat the New York Rangers for it!!! I think if they stay healthy this season, they will be top contenders for the Cup
