ON the show Viki just bought a plane ticket to "anywhere". She had been humiliated by Dorian at Monte Carlo night, then took her sons to the airport after Asa's funeral and when they left, she went to the ticket counter & just bought the ticket. ( In real life she went to Africa with her family. She took a 2-month vacation from the show this year.) Viki will start to email her family again soon from wherever she is.

She always goes on vacation this time of year, so she gets written out of the show for a couple of weeks. More than likely Vicki is in England with the family.

In real life she went on her summer vacation but on the show she simply bought a ticket to anywhere one way (her exact words) and the previous poster is correct that when she comes back, where she has been will play into it. I think OLTL is getting real good right now-I can't wait for David Vickers to come back

The actress takes a 2 month vacation from the show every year and this is their way of explaining her absence.

Vicki basically ran away from home (Erica Slezak is on vacation), but according to spoilers, she will be sending her family e-mails to let them know she is all right. Kind of funny how no one has even mentioned her, isn't it?

It has been a secret where she went. They didn't mention it but they did say in one of the magazines that it eill play into her story when she returns home.
