On paper, the Detroit Red Wings, Anaheim Ducks, and Ottawa Senators have the highest ratings with NHL central scouting.
However, the game isn;t played on paper, so ask me on June 15th, 2008

Is there NHL field hockey that we don't know about?
Well, if you're looking at currently, look to the Stanley Cup champion Anaheim Dicks..I mean, Ducks (since no one this coming season has yet to play a game). If you're looking at the past ten years, it's hard to argue against either the New Jersey Devils or Detroit Red Wings. If you're looking at all-time, look no further than the Montreal Canadians and their 24 Stanley Cup victories.

You can hardly go by Stanley Cups, since Montreal won most of those when there only 6 teams in the NHL. It'd be like saying most people have more career pts than Syndney Crosby, because hes only played 2 years now, therefore most people score more than Crosby.
While Montreal was clearly the best of the original 6; they are lucky to even make the playoffs anymore... beating 5 teams only gets you to the top of your Division now... now a Stanley Cup...

No Question. Hands down, Detroit Red Wings Baby!!! I sure do miss old Konstantinov though. Bad Vlad sure was one tough son of a bi*^h!!! And what a bunch of great guys. I've met most of the team and really, what easy going, down to earth guys. Makes me want to grab a few Labatt Blue Lights and watch the hockey game with "them". They are just the kind of guys that you could do that with. I love all you boys! Oh, and thanks to Darren McCarty, Vladimir Konstantinov, Paul Coffey, and Dallas Drake for walking my friend and I to our car that night after the game. (Mid 90's) You were all perfect gentlemen by offering, and it made us feel safer being 2 single girls walking in Detroit alone late at night. See what I mean, Wings are great guys!!!
Darren, if you're reading this, you might remember me... Does "Zipperhead" ring any bells? Sorry about that, but eh, I'm Irish, we got big mouths!!! lol
