Is it simply because they are pointing the finger at the current President?

This is actually a serious question - if you look at most (if not all) of the conspiracy website, they are run by people/groups attached to a liberal political party/organization. I honestly haven't seen a single conspiracy website that was related to a conservative group. And yes, I know there are a fringe group of conservatives as well (I'm Independent) but nothing comparable to what you see with the liberals.

Whoa, whoa, whoa people! I am not saying all liberals believe in conspiracies and that all conservatives are perfect. I am questioning why it is that almost all the conspiracy websites are run by liberal groups with their own political agendas. And if anyone does know of any conspiracy websites run by conservative groups, paste them up please.

I don't think they can handle George Bush being in office, so they make up ludicrous stories to make him look bad.

I don't go along with most of the conspiracy theories, but your question implies that there is something somehow unpatriotic about questioning authority. There have always been conspiracy theories. They had them about the Lincoln assassination, the Kennedy assassination, Amelia Earhart, Pearl Harbor, the sinking of the Maine, etc. Why would 9/11 be any different? I would be more surprised if there were no conspiracy theories about 9/11.
By the way, what makes you think that the only people who bought into those conspiracies were liberals?

Conspiracy theories have been around for centuries, before there were so called "Liberals" If this is to imply that all Democrats are liberal or conspiracy crazies, think again! Reads like you are only interested in picking on the Democrats! That in its self is a theory!

Oh please! Conservatives are still trotting out conspiracy theories from Clinton’s presidency right here on Yahoo Answers.

Conspiracy theories have never gone out of fashion. The Bush administration doesn’t help the situation any by being so secretive, losing millions of emails, and even changing branches of government in order to avoid disclosing information, among other things.

I don't understand how a person CAN'T think that there are conspiracies. Take Nixon and Watergate. Clinton and Whitewater. Reagan and Iran-Contra.

These are just the ones we KNOW about. By comparison, less than half of all murder cases get solved in the U.S. That means, if I walk up to a stranger, and put a bullet in thier head, there is a 50% chance that I won't get caught. Why is it so inconcievable to think that a powerful, wealthy person is taking advantage of his position in the government to further his own ends? It's almost childish to think that conspiracies DON'T happen. Think of your personal life. Surely you know a couple of busy-bodies at work that are always plotting and planning, gossiping and jockeying for position. Our politicians are no better. But...they have a lot more power at thier disposal....

Crabby.... there's a former KKK member in Congress right now.... he's a Democrat....his name is Robert Byrd.... there are also religious bigots in the Democrat party.... for example, Jesse "Hymietown" Jackson...

And as far as Vince Foster being murdered.... unless blood runs uphill in Washington D.C., he didn't die where he was found. That doesn't make it Murder, but people who knew him personally don't think he fit the profile of a potential suicide at all. Even if it was, someone moved the body. Why?

Which is the same question about Hillary's "cattle futures". We know what happened, and it wasn't her brilliance in commodities. Someone paid the Clinton's a $100,000 bribe. The question, again, is "Why?"
