Some people who have had a scare of an STD will get tested more frequently to make sure that it isn't an STD. This happened to a friend of mine. She went in more often to make sure she was healthy. When they do a pap smear they can also test the cells for more than cancer. It depends on what kind of smear they do. Generally, they are just looking for cancer. They can also check of other things during an exam, such as STD's. Some people who are intent on keeping healthy will get pap smears more often than once a year. Insurance usually covers it for once a year though unless there are special circumstances. This girl could be lying to you or could really be telling the truth. It is possible that she's telling the truth.

maybe she meant the last time she went in was three months ago??
if you both do have chlamydia you should get treated right away. or whatever disease it is. get treated.
if she said she gets tested every three months, she's not being totally honest and probably hasn't seen any doctor. if she did see a doctor then she would know it isn't every three months. unless she thinks your gullible and just told you that to get you off her back??
it does no good to point fingers as you can get diseases even with using a condom. just be more careful in the future.

It is actually just a little uncomfortable, however what fairly is helping is that if you're at ease along with your health care provider. When I first went for mine, I was once so scared I idea it was once gonna harm so unhealthy lol, however my health care provider stored me speaking and he or she honestly helped eased me into getting it performed. I would not even open my legs in the beginning! Sometimes they do name quicker, however that does not imply some thing is fallacious with you. I've gotten calls again quicker and they are going to inform me "Everything got here again common, you are well!" Personally, I nonetheless do not like getting it performed, however I think pleasant with it, and I recover from it. Like I mentioned speaking along with your health care provider is helping, and even carry a ebook! I promise it would possibly not be that unhealthy!!

Insurance will only pay for a pap smear once a year so unless she's forking over the money herself, I doubt it's true.
