1st, that's why it's 1st (the 2nd is the 2nd most important, and so on).

The Constitution and thus the amendments are important however I believe that these amendments are the most important.

The First, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth. The first because it gives us the right to free speech (without free speech zones) the right to redress our grivances.

The Fourth: States that we are protected from searches and sizures unless the police has a warrant.

The Fifth: States that everyone has the right to an attorny and the right to remain silent, it also protects from double jeopardy.

The Sixth: States that we have the right to a speedy trial, and to be known what you are being charged with and to know the evidence against you.

Of course the fourth, fifth and sixth are not applicable if Bush calls you an enemy combantant or helping the enemy. As for proof of his claims, hey who needs proof.

The Fourteenth: Outlaws slavery.

The Fifthteenth: States that African Americans can vote.

The Nineteenth: Gave women the right to vote.

Amendment 16. This is the so-called 'income tax' amendment. The Constitution clearly defines income as money gained that DOESN'T come from wages, and yet the IRS defines it as wages. It's purpose is to pay the interest on the national debt. It opened the door for the Federal Reserve to be created (which is NOT a government office, but a private bank), and now America is basically owned by this bank.

When people talk about the National Debt...who do you think we owe that debt to? We pay it to a third party. This third party prints our money and hold our nation's gold in 'trust'. It's very scary to think about.

Final thought: NONE of your income tax is used to pay for government services. It's used to pay the interest on the National Debt. ALL of your government services are paid for by other taxes.

1st and 9th.
1st: Give and understand rights of the people
9th: Say people have more rights not included in constitution.

The 2nd amendment gives the right to join and maintain a state militia, not civilian gun rights.

You might want to list them as the majority of Americans don't know their rights. Also, most of them have been taken away with the latest trampling of the constitution by the current administration.
