3. The Sect of the Tao-See
There is yet another separate sect, that of the Tao-See, the followers of which are not mandarins and attached to the state religion, nor are they Buddhists or Lamaics. The originator of this philosophy and the one who was closely connected with it in his life, is Lao-Tso, who was born in the end of the seventh century before Christ and who was older than Confucius, for this representative of the more political school went to him in order to ask his advice.

Relation to Confucism and Buddhism: Confucius was often the butt of Taoist jokes, being so tied up in vast and complicated systems of ideology and laws – all swirling around Confucius in a confusing frenzy – both for himself and those around him!

Taoist folklore also tells of a humorist historical connection to Buddhism: when Lao Tzu left his village to head west (a symbolism of death), he traveled as far as India, where he found Prince Siddhartha, confused about the workings of the world. On meeting Lao Tzu, Siddhartha tried to understand his philosophy, but as the story goes, he could not get it quite right! Hence, the emergence of Buddhism.

Enumerate as in list; make an "outline"? I won't do the assignment, but you might start like this: Human Acts: A) Conscious 1) Imperative (eating..) 2) etc. B) Unconscious 1) Imperative (breathing..) 2) etc. Voluntariness: Perhaps you could organize by parties who benefit (self-beneficial, etc.) but put a little more thought into it :)
