heres my situation. please only answer if you can help me out. im really scared.
i havent had my period (4-6 months) due to diet change and stress. 2 nights ago i had sex using NO condom and the boy never pulled out. right now i feel like im havig period cramps....???? i dont know whether to expect my period after 6 months of nothing or am i pregnant?? how soon can you tell if you are pregnant. and what are some signs? i dont think i can get pregnant because i havent had my period in like 6 months. but y all of a sudden am i getting these cramps. i just had sex 2 days ago. is it a coincidence??
please someone help im realllllllyy scaredd :( :(

If you are pregnant you wouldn't have symptoms within 2 days (it takes about 72 hours for the sperm to even reach an egg). So a pregnancy test couldn't detect any signifacant hormone changes as of yet (unless in the past 4-6 months you had sex before the time you just stated). Even if you went to the MD and had a blood test, they still couldn't tell. So your cramps aren't pregnancy related. My suggestion would be to take the morning after pill sometime before 72 hours are up. If your periods are irregular, you should go to your family md and ask them to prescribe medroxyprogesterone. It's a pill you take for 10 days to make you have a period. After that period is over, your MD will put you on a birth control pill, and you'll be regular every month. It will also prevent pregnancy, and give you shorter, lighter periods. If you are pregnant (which you could be) a test won't show it for a couple weeks. Good Luck!

Way to many diseases out there to be having unprotected sex and being only 16 years old a child is the last thing you need right now. Be smart and use protection!
Sometimes the breasts can become very tender, morning sickness (does not just happen in the AM all the time), you should take a home pregnancy test.
Just because you dont have your period for a month or so do to diet change and stress does not mean you cant get pregnant. Use your head!

I live in TN so our rules and regulations may be different but if you are still with the father since you are 16 you may choose where you live I understand the fear of being pregnant at 16 because I'm 16 and pregnant see my mom and dad split up so she went wild as did I . but fortunately I found the love of my life and my mother wouldn't give up her rights I told her I was pregnant and I was leave a week later after this two year period of her and my step dad were together she got back with my real dad. They tried yo make me go home but there is really nothing they can do considering I'm not any longer in danger me and my now fiance is trying to conceive a beautiful baby yes I'm 16 and that is a way to get away from the danger GOOD LUCK and keep your head up

First, you havent had a period for 4-6 months and you say it is stress, however, 2 days after unprotected sex, you are asking if you are pregnant? Have you not had intercourse in the previous 6 months? If you have not, than chances are good you are not pregnant. However, if you have been having u.p. sex for 6 months and no period, chances are good you are pregnant. Why not take a test and make sure? And you should be scared. Scared that you will get Chlamydia, Syphillis,Gonnorhea, or AIDS. Pregnancy is the least of your worries. Be carefull, dont let him near you unless he "Wraps that rascall" I know you prob. dont want to hear this, but it is the sad truth. Good Luck!

You can still get pregnant even if You have not had a period for months.The best thing to do is get a pregnancy test.I dont think You would be able to feel i f You are pregnant after just two days.Hopefully You are starting Your period.You should see a doctor about the reason for no period in a long time.Rule of thumb if You have sex You can become pregnant,or,contract stds.You should always use protection.Please get a pregnancy test and go see your doctor.

Okay...since you changed your diet and are experiencing stress, highly than likely that your body in the inside is going to change...I'll share something with you...I thought I was pregnant 13 days ago...but unfortunately it was due to stress and I wasn't eating a lot and I was smoking more than usual... plus you didn't have your period for 4-6 months, and I'm assuming you didn't have sex within 4-6 months, and you had sex 2 days ago...so I don't think your pregnant..
Signs of pregnancy is morning sickness, not eating as much as you used to, yes you loose your period, your stomach would look like a beach ball by now..urinating more, start to develop breast milk...

If you had unprotected sex there is always a chance that you will become pregnant....whether you have had a period in the past 6mos or not. At your age, periods may not be regular yet, but unless you are anorexic or bullemic and very underweight they should not just stop for 6 months. You need to be checked somewhere
either you GYN doc or a clinic. It will help settle your fears. IF you need the "morning after pill'' to prevent pregnancy you need it within 72 hrs.

It is not for sure the you are pregnant but it is a possibility. I have a friend who is anemic, she gets her period every 5-6 months. [but recently shes been making it regular with birth control pills]. Last month she went through the same thing. she hadn't had her period in 4 months and she had unprotected sex. so she thought she was pregnant. she wasn't. but the only way you can find out is by:
a) taking a pregnancy test, but not right away.in a few weeks.
OR if you don't want to wait or get your parents involved right away.
b)go to a free clinic make an appointment and get a blood test done.
if you are indeed NOT pregnant get on birth control and don't have unprotected sex. Its far too risky.

It could be your period is coming. It's too soon to tell whether you're pregnant or not! I too get cramps from having sex. I think that it's your uterus contracting while you're having sex. My best bet is wait at least a week or 2 to take the pregnancy test or if you never have your period then, go see your doctor! Maybe it's possible that you have STD's.

There is no way of telling if you are pregnant after 2 days using any home pregnancy tests.
And if you are only 2 days pregnant...you wouldnt have pregnancy cramps yet....
I would wait for 5 more days... if you still have no period, take a home pregnancy test....and if it comes out negative....you need to go to the Doctor and get on the pill...the pill will regulate your period so you dont go 6 months without it....(and of course, it will keep you protected!!! lol)
If the results are positive....you still need to get to a Dr!!! (but I am sure you already knew that! LOL)
