I agree with Angelo. Most manga shows and graphic works are not appropriate for children - even though they are sometimes marketed that way in the US. If Kamakaze has an American version then it is possible that would be acceptable since the American medai tones down or cuts out and sexual and homosexual undertones or storylines that are found in the original. However, 16 years old is walking the line between child and adult so it ultimately would rest on the maturity level of your child and the confidence that you have in their decision making.
