I just hooked up the WRT54G Linksys wireless router and I am having trouble keeping it connected, the light on the front left side of the router is orange and when i push it it stays blinking white for a few minutes, and during this time I can connect wirelessly and then it turns back off onto the orange light, any ideas on what to do? Thanks!

I think you will find that the "orange" button is the SES "secure easy setup". The Best advice I can give you is DONT USE IT!.

It is supposed to make setting up the SSID and Security settings automatic, but I have never been able to get it working correctly by doing that!

Use the web interface to the router, hard wire a machine to it to do this. Log into the router -- set the SSID and the security manually. Then open your wireless connection and connect using the correct SSID and password which you setup. It will connect and stay connected.

Here is the page from linksys on setting up wireless and wireless security.
