Every baby is different! My daughter weighed 14 lbs when she was 2 months but she was in the 95th percentile for both height and weight. She has always been a big baby (10 lbs 3 oz at birth) and she's still bigger than most babies her age but she's happy and healthy!

My son was 12lbs 12 oz at his 2 month well visit. It depends a lot on how much they were when they were born. My son was 9 lbs. They say a 1/2 lb a week is a good gain and by 6 months they should double their birthweight. My son is 6 months now and 20 lbs. All babies are very different, but around a year they are all much closer to each other in sze.

My son was 10 pounds the day he was born. I don't remember exactly what he was at 2 months, but I think it was something like 14 pounds.

I do remember that he was 18 pounds at his 4 month check up, and 21 pounds at his 6 month check up. So I'd say your baby is normal and not on the heavy side.

Do NOT worry about a baby being fat!

You know a fat baby when you see one, they can barely move around (at 6+ months) and have rolls and rolls and rolls.

If the doctor says she is average, she is fine.

My son (nearly 8 lbs at birth) weight 13-14 lbs at 2 months. My daughter (5 10 at birth) weighed maybe 8 1/2 at 2 months.

She is fine, don't worry about things like weight unless the doctor tells you to worry.

That sounds right, how much did she weigh at birth? I think it goes by their birth weight since every baby is different. My son was 12 lb 10oz and 25 inches long when he was 2 and a half months and he weighed 8lbs 4 oz at birth. He was a big boy

My son is a month and a half and already weighs just over 10 pounds. He was 6lb 12oz at birth, 3 1/2 weeks early...

My little guy turns 10 weeks old tomorrow and weighs right around 12 pounds. He was only 5 lbs 12 oz when he was born, so he's doing good. Trust your doctor and just love your baby. Good luck!

No! My daughter is about 2 1/2 months, and she's 11lbs. 2oz., which her Dr. said was great! Not heavy at all! And she's breastfed, so that weight gain is awesome.

It depends alot on her birth weight... but that sounds pretty normal to me. My 3 1/2 month old is 13.5lbs and weighted 8lbs 9oz at birth
