It was the direct prophecy by Jesus, in the New Testament in the book of John chapter 16:2-3.
'They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.
Isn't it amazing? Jesus gave us a guide to go by, and yet, so many in todays society reject it!!!

Kermit M,
It was true then, and it's true now, people everywhere are attacking the Church, such as Nancy Pelosi who is trying to pass ant-religious freedom speech. There trying to get as much anti-morality accomplished as possible via the legislation system .... so, all you out there who want to keep the current status of church taxation, need to write you Senators and let them know how you feel about this, and that you are not going to support such a bill.
If this passes? There will be many freedoms that we enjoy already, totally lost!!
Contact your Senators today!!!

Sounds more like Nazi Germany to me, or the explusion of the Jews from Spain in 1492 or England under Edward I. The Muslims never did anything like that to the jews and in fact the Koran considers CHristians and Jews to be "people of the book" :
"People of the Book" (Arabic أهل الكتاب, Ahl al- Kitâb), also "Followers of the Bible"[1], is a theological term, primarily related to Islam, describing non-Muslim peoples who, according to the Qur'an, received scriptures which were revealed to them by God before the time of Muhammad. In Islam, the Muslim scripture, the Qur'an, is taken to represent the completion of these scriptures, and to supplant them as God's true, final, and eternal message to humanity. However, because the People of the Book recognize the supreme Abrahamic God as the Muslims do, and they practice revealed faiths based on Divine ordinances, a certain level of tolerance and autonomy is accorded to them in societies governed by sharia (Islamic divine law). The generally accepted interpretation is that the pre-Islamic revealed texts are the Tawrat and the Injil.
A dhimmi is a person of the dhimma, a term which refers in Islamic law to a pact contracted between non-Muslims and authorities from their Muslim government: this status was originally only made available to non-Muslims who were People of the Book (i.e. Jews and Christians), but was later extended to include Sikhs, Zoroastrians, Mandeans, and, in some areas, Hindus[2] and Buddhists.[3][4]

the type you spot that's not somewhat magnificent. From the attitude of a Muslim although that's good using fact Jesus substitute right into a Muslim interior the experience that he submitted himself to the single genuine God. His followers have been hence Muslims too whether the notice Muslim wasn't used returned then. And that's genuine human beings killed them and called their ideals heresy. What a shame too using fact the trinitarians gained and now the process Jesus has been corrupted.

Jesus also warned of false prophets like muhammad who would claim to represent God yet would start evil things like the jihad you mention. Real prophets keep God's laws. The koran (33:50) says muhammad had a special exemption. This proves muhammad was not a prophet, allah is not God, and islam is a fraud.

That spirit has been largely absent in the US until our generation. We Americans have enjoyed freedom of worship unseen by the world in all of history.
I think it is worth speaking out for! Our Constitution guarantees us freedom of worship. But if we do not love it and protect it, we will lose that freedom.

I think it's amazing Buddha lived 500 years before Jesus and said smarter things, such as: Love and compassion are the true nature of humans, and to know yourself is to know God.
But hardly anybody in the West believes in my lord and master, Buddha.

A jihad isn't an offensive war. There are different interpretations of Jihad and the only one to do with war states so in a defensive manner. And Jesus didn't strike me as big on fighting. I thought he wanted peace.
I can't believe I forgot Sadartha (Budda). Wasn't he in the same idealogical boat with Jesus?
