I spent £1,500 on a custom made upright bass in a mint green colour back in 2002.
Once it was made and I got it home, I realised that it was fretless and I was then unable to play it, because without the guidance of frets, I am practically blind!
To make matters worse, the band that I was in at the time (and one of the main reasons why I bought the bass, so it would make us stand out from other local metal bands), exploded apart a couple of months later - meaning that I had no use for it!
Because of it's uniqueness, it has been pointless trying to re-sell it.
So, no, it wasn't worth it!!
But it is a lovely looking beast though!

hi, My checklist at Primark spending is 0, as this is all crud. I even have under no circumstances considered a lot low priced nonesense in one place, different than for a Bombay souk I as quickly as visited i'm hoping the knickers and different stuff carry out for a on an identical time as, yet i does no longer guess on it. You gets what you paid for. I nonetheless have a the suitable option jacket from a British coronary heart beginning charity save for £7 purely used it immediately at a charity do, and somebody pronounced "snap" His improve into £fifty 5 - comparable merchandise. purely some innovations ! $100.000. I bought a 142 acre farm for cash. I have never regretted it. That was 18 years ago. Today, I can only say that I profited more than I would have in any other venture.

I bought a newer SUV when my old car broke down..
I paid cash my father in law gave me before he died...
I paid right at $17,000.00 dollars..
It is still so worth it with all the extras and it is so fun to drive...

Other than the house ($93K US), I bought a 1975 Triumph Spitfire ($2500 US) when I was in the Navy. I had a blast with that little car and it broke my heart when I got transferred and had to sell it.

Besides my house - forty-two thousand five-hundred pounds on a CLK convertible. It was well worth it - especially touring Europe in it one Summer. Don't have it now - now I have sensible family cars.

7,500 to pay off my vehicle...as a single mom...very rewarding
also 4,900 for a new furnace, very worth it, I had no heat, and my kids were cold, knowing as a single mom with a blue collar job I could make this work for us was very rewarding.
