That when a hurricane threatens one of our coastlines, if Jim Cantore, the meteorologist from the Weather Channel, shows up to report the storm...That's where the storm hits.
Don't you think that's rather weird

I know! If Jim showed up in the middle of Arizona, I'm sure a hurricane would slam there. The poor guy's a magnet!

I really wish that he had gone to the middle of the Gulf or something when Katrina hit. But nooooooo, he just HAD to stay in the Veteran's home in Biloxi, MS. And where does the storm go?

Maybe, as a meteorologist, he knows where to go for a potential hurricane. They are rather predictable in their path.

He's a storm magnet. The storms see him and go charging right there to get him.

They have a satellite that can pinpoint where the storm is, then they send someone there in a car.

no, its just that he knows weather. most of the weather people are there because of their looks. they can be wrong 90% of the time and still keep their jobs.
