Well, I find that no matter what you have, you will always want better, not more, just better. A better car, not two cars. A better job, what you like doing, not always more money. If you enjoy your job more, for the same money, you'll keep doing it. A bigger house, more rooms, a garage, guest room etc.......
The facts of life are that every one wants to better them selves, after all repetition is boring, and being stuck in a rutt won't get you any where. Theres nothing wrong with wanting to better yourself, its not being greedy, or keeping up with the neighbours, they got a new car so we best get one too kind of thing.
If your happy and contented with your life, fine, I have no problem with that line of thinking. But ask your self these four questions. Am I happy?, Am I content?, is this all life has in store for me?, and do I want more?
After all being content doesn't make you happy..........
Is this any help?

1stly a family is only as good as every member makes it.
2ndly a house is only a home when it is full of love , devotion and happiness and where there is no abuse.
3rdly cars may get you from A to B , but if the hospital is further then D how do you make it past C?
Some people are just selfish .Aim to high and the fall will do more then break bone's.

The reason is because it could be that they were pressured into having a family or the type of job that they have. It could be that he wants a different kind of job or doesn't want a family at all.
It could also be that the person is comparing himself with other people and feeling like his/her life is not sufficient.......but everyone has problems, it's just that other people don't show their problems to the rest of the world so one falsely thinks that they have a flawless life.

To have those things is the American dream. But sadly there's a whole lot more to life than a white picket fence. Alot of people spend their whole lives searching for it and never find it, because they search by achieving more 'things'. For me atleast, it's having a strong religion. In the end this life doesn't add up to much, so we all need something more.

One would think so, but there are some people who are never satisfied, they always want more. I think anyone should be content with having good health, then all the other things, you mention above. Have a good night.

Personally, money doesn't buy happiness. Yes, money can make things a lot easier, and maybe a little less stressful at times, but it doesn't buy love. Having a strong family that you know you can count on is all thats going to matter in the end.

I believe we should be content with what we have. I feel that the people who aren't are not content with themselves. They are lacking in their own self, whether it be confidence or something else. some sort of personal issue that leaves them with the desire for more and feeling that what they have isn't enough.
