He knew i started him as one of my WRs in fantasy football.

Thank Christ I have Chad Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald going tomorrow.....

PATRICK....You have my sympathy. The guy I benched for Branch was Eddie Kennison, he had only 5 yards. It was a wash for me.

I am guessing it was a match up thing. I didn't see the game personally, so I am unsure if he was on the sidelines or not; but it is hardly uncharacteristic of Branch to be a no-show (see: Patriots 2006). I started him too, and I will sit him for Burelson this week.

the following excerpt is from a seattle paper:

Branched out

Seahawks wide receiver Deion Branch figured to be Hasselbeck's prime target this season.

In the end, he might be. But not Sunday. Branch was held without a catch for the first time in 66 games in which he has been on the active roster for his team.

"In our system right now, Deion should touch the ball more than any of the other receivers," Holmgren said. "We've done this with teams as well. You come in and you say 'OK, we're not going to let him touch the ball quite as much,' and clearly they had that as part of the plan."

I'm with d7602002, except I only have LF going tomorrow. I benched Santonio Holmes (12 points) to play Branch. Hell, I could have played Mike Furrey and gotten 5. I don't know if we are all in Yahoo leagues, but if you are, ignore their pregame recommendations!!!!

THAT'S A FANTASTIC QUESTION. I had a pretty decent chance to win this week in my league until Deoin Branch magically wasn't playing.

He didn't play, btw. I've tried looking for answers as to WHY he didn't play. I got nothing.

-He's not hurt.
-He's listed as a starter.
-There were no updates ANYWHERE to warn me he wasn't going to play.

I would be much more at ease if I could just find a reason as to why he didn't play.

Cuz he's a turd. Belechik didn't let him go just because he wanted more money.
