Every year my town has a 7-day chicken-roping event, A bunch of chickens are put into a fenced area and people above will rope them and the person with the most chickens at the end wins. Well this year they've showed up to the event and are protesting, it's really annoying and it's not as much fun. Does anyone have experience with this? What's the best way to get them out (without assault that is)?

After the chickens are roped, demonstrate the "neck wringing" procedure and throw those tasty devils on the grill!

Simply put them in the pens with the chickens. Chickens roped count one point and the PETA zealots roped count two points. The one with the most points at the end wins.
