For the poles themselves :

Today, the North Pole will have 24 hours of daylight, and the South Pole will have none. This will go on for about another two weeks, until the (northern hemisphere's) Autumnal Equinox.

On September 23, the sun will set on the North Pole, and will not rise again until March 20 next year. At the South Pole, the reverse will happen. Sunrise on the 23rd of September, then continuous daylight until sunset on March 20.
