If Mullah Murtha had his way... those Marines on Mt. Surabachi on Iwo Jima would have been raising a white flag instead of the American Flag.

King Corruption will disregard the Generals report the same way that the "experts" (liberals) on YA have already done.

For the record, some Americans still regard Benedict Arnold as a hero, despite his support of King George III. His career is beyond question. It was the stupidity of the colonial congress (sounds familiar, eh?) that drove him over the edge and back in to a British uniform. His actions I can understand. And to compare him to Senator Kerry is a joke. Nothing John Kerry ever did could compare with General Arnold. Nothing. But the immature behavior of the wannbe neo-con campers in this forum only proves we're no longer a civil nation. Name calling is the only pathetic game they have left.

If the 'Surge' is working why are the same number of people being killed and maimed every day? Why isn't the Iraqi infrastructure improving? Why can't the 'Vichy Iraq' government leave Fort Green Zone? Some parts of Baghdad are now more 'peaceful' because the death squads in those areas have finished killing off all the people they set out to eliminate. Others have fled. This has nothing to do with US troops being there...it's in spite of them being there. This kind of 'question' is totally bogus and it's the kind of action that destroyed the chat lines. Next we'll be getting sex bots in here. By the way..the answer to your question is no! The 'report', given that it will be written and edited by the Bush Junta, will only give John Murtha more ammunition to refute the proveable lies of the Stooge-in-Chief!

In my humble opinion, Murtha looks like a fool regardless of what any one reports.

You mean the Non-Petreaus report. The one Mr Bush has already been all over and created in his own imagine. I'll have more of an opinion when I see who and how this report is delivered. I'm not taking it to seriously. The surge and this report were used as a stall tactic.

The so called Surge is not working....

1800 innocent men/women and children died in August, and that count doesn't include the dead/injured/etc., U.S troops.

Almost 4000 dead U.S troops, over 10,000 injured U.S troops, and the number continues to rise.

Everyday the newspapers report news of more deaths, whether it's innocent Iraqi ppl caught up in the turmoil, or if it's more of our troops, it's a guarantee that each day comes with the news of more deaths. If the so called Surge was working, the death count would slow down considerably, but it hasn't.

Enough said!!!!
