Everytime I go to the bathroom, the cat busts down the door. Then the dogs have to come in and see what is going on, then the other cat will sit in the doorway and monitor everyone. I never get any privacy! Ha. Do your animals do this to you?

Yes. My last cat would open the door. It was especially fun when you had company.
My new cats like to rush in before the door is closed. They love playing in the sink with the water. Olive loves to bat a little ball under the door as well. It's a production to go to the bathroom.

it must be a universal thing because same in this house, i have 2 dogs and its like having 2 shadows with you when you go to the bathroom, one at my feet and the chihuahua thinks he needs to sit on my lap.
and if you taking a bath both are peering over the side as if to say" what you doing Mom?" some times they are worse than the kids when they were home.

Its not the bathroom that bothers me. When I was married Molly (the dog) would sneak in the bedroom while we were active. It's a bit of a shock when a cold sniffing nose touches you back there unexpectedly. She was always the curious dog.

My dog always does that! She will bust open the door and then sit in front of me like I am supposed to pet her. Then she lies on threshold as if to guard me from danger !

Ahaha that's hilarious. Yeah I always leave my dog out. It's only a 1 man mission, he's really not needed. Then he starts scratching the door like theirs no tomorrow. He probably thinks I'm cheating on him or something.

haha omg i thought my dogs were the only ones that did that. when we have guests i have to tell them to make sure to shut the door or else they push it open. we even had a ferret and she'd lie in the corner and wait. i have 3 dogs and they either wait at the door and stick their noses at the bottom or if i am not quick enough they follow me and try to all fit in there.

Lmao! I use to have that problem...Now it is the kids who thinks they have to follow me...I explained very nicely that bathroom time is private and I gently close the door...It is great because the youngest one who is 1 likes to sing and make music by slapping the door! ah!
