Amen! A sensible point of view! Can you imagine all the McCanns have been through, only to have these jokers in another country try to put you away; ruining your reputation in the meantime.
You do not get over the loss of a child, but these slimball police, are trying to make the story go away; all in the name of the tourists $$$$.
They've been Nyfonged! May they all go through the same misery, as Maddie's parents!!
While all this is going on, Maddie is still all alone, ans separated from the only family and love she knows.

Everyone appears to be corrupt when a team has the job of collecting evidence, I do agree on this point. Why frame the mother?. That seems to be a trend everywhere, The description of police in Portuguese can fit just about any one who wants not to be disturbed.And besides, the husband has to be framed to.

You don't know anything about the particulars of the case, any more than anyone else.
The Parents are ALWAYS the first suspect when a child goes missing. why? Because the parents usually are guilty.
Any police department must work to CLEAR the parents of suspicion as a primary task of an investigation of this sort.
If the evidence doesn't bear out the parents' story, then they will be investigated further.
I'm sure that the British government is watching closely. Any evidence of police misconduct will be detected by consulates, embassies, parliament, and the Queen. If they are, in fact, being framed, we will soon know.

Don't be so bloody racist. Who are you to accuse a police force of this? The McC's themselves didn't help matters by ruining the crime scene by letting every Tom, Dick & Harry run about the place and having a "pact of silence" with their mates. Why have a "pact of Silence" if there's nothing to hide? The police were thwarted at every turn from doing their job. OK - they should have closed the bordersetc a lot quicker. That doesn't mean that the Police are corrupt.

Small point, but...a white Brit can not be a 'racist ' when criticising the Portuguese, as they are white.
As to the McCann's, I feel they are being framed by these incompetent Portuguese bozos, but only time will tell.

Thats another possible theory, that the Portugese don't want their tourism trade harmed.
But most people think thats a boring idea and prefer to join the witch hunt and indulge in a bit of mud slinging because thats sooo much more fun.

Why are they corrupt and resentful? Because they're Portuguese and not 'British' (because we all know the British police force are 'great'.). I think the Mccanns and every other racist like yourself have underestimated the ability of the Portuguese to quietly get on and do their job. What, are they answerable to the UK media for their actions? Or maybe to Auntie McCann? How on earth do you know she's been 'framed' - it seems obvious she's got a lot of explaining to do
