They lost 36-21 to Detroit. I'm a Lions fan (sob sob, I know, you feel sorry for me), the Raiders never were this crummy. I thought last year was a fluke. Any opinions ?

Sorry "Amanda S" (above). "Wooleybooley" is right. You must have tuned out early. The score was Detroit 36 - Oakland 21. Think before you say you... Oh, never mind.

I'm not sure how bad the Raiders are this year, but I hope they continue to be bad at least until after Week 3 when my Cleveland Browns (who had NO offense today) play them. It might be the Browns only chance to win if they don't find their offense.

I'll give them 7 wins. The funny thing about them is that they beat a lot of good teams last year, but they weren't as prepared for the lesser teams. If they can get that fixed they might get above .500.

raiders should use next year's first round draft pick on jamarcus russel again. lol. that guy will never get an nfl paycheck! lol.

i honestly think culpepper will give the raiders a better chance to win than mcown. although both are bad.

The Raiders are dealing with Detroit's trash at QB (McCown). And did it ever show.

It's not that the Raiders are that bad (defensively; offense is another story). It's that they were dealing with a Mike Martz run offense, and we all know what happens when Martz runs an offense.

At least they scored 21 points. Last year they averaged 10.

And why would they go with McCown???

As a Lions fan, you know first hand just how horrible McCown can be...

Maybe it's because the coach is the youngest in NFL history, so doesn't know that McCown is a chump...
