I was watched some of the game and did not see russell play..why didnt he play..it was suppose to be a showdown between calvin and russell..

JaMarcus Russell is still holding out with the Raiders. The QB now is Josh McCown. Its a shame because the Raiders could of gotten Calvin Johnson and he would probably be playing

russell is greedy and wont sign unless he gets the contract he wants. what he fails to realize is that his value decreases by the number of games he misses. calvin johnson, like i said in the offseason, was the way to go for the first pick. raiders didnt think russell would be this greedy. if they sign russell, it wont change anything performance wise, it will only severely devastate their salary cap space.

The raiders decieded to use a more experianced qb. They were saying that russell will start later in the season probably.

cuz russel finally figured raiders suck balls and doesnt want to sign with them
he is still holding out and wont sign a long deal raiders blow
truthfully tho he is trying to get as much guarenteed money as he can
