Any one out there ever had post concussional syndrome? How long did it last and how did you treat it?
I had a car accident and since then I have had non-stop headachs and get very dizzy all the time, which leads sometimes into seziure type of behavior, sometimes I loose consienceness sometimes I don't. My hearing and sight also are impacted when I have an eposode and my pain level goes to a 10 immediately. Life has pretty much sucked since this accident, I can't even drive anymore.......Now they are also telling me I am showing early signs of something called RSD, a nerve disorder.

Anyone have any experence with this syndrome, or RSD?

Uhhh, no idea.

I read that it could last weeks or months. But you are not alone. I got head-butted by a 2 year old 4 weeks ago today, and my symptoms (double vision and vertigo) didn't even begin until 1 week (10 days) after the incident. But I think that I am slowly improving. The double vision is slightly better (corrected with glasses) and the vertigo is either subsiding or I am getting used to it. What I am doing is keeping notes of appointments, to-do lists, and getting more sleep than usual. Look for little improvements if you can, that has been the only ray of sunshine in my life. Things like:

• Hey I only hear ringing in one ear.
• The dbl-vision isnt as bad if I look up at things.
• Hey no vertigo yet today, right now, or only two spells of it yesterday.
• Numbness, and confusion are about the only constant that I am suffering.

Hang in there, and look for the improvements.

I would definitely see a neuro if I were you, about the seizures.

Losing consciousness is never a good sign. Go back to your neurologist, because a family doctor, internist, GP, or pediatrician isn't qualified to answer this question.
