If the technology supports conclusive evidence, then I am for
its usage. If it can detect only marginal, then we need to leave
it to the umpires and take it as the final call. It is part and parcel
of the game. Unfortunately, the umpires have been wrong on
many such occasions( cannot blame the umpires as they are
humans bound to make errors)....Hence utilizing existing
technology, makes things better. I believe in technology and
even it could be wrong too, but the error rate may drop to
satisfy oneself.

I have a novel idea!
Why not to remove the LBW clause & disallow leg byes?
reasons: 1) most of the controverses especially in case of a veteran or when the match has a close finish, are arised on this topic.
2) with replays being repeatatively shown, every one has become a master umpire. So the umpires on ground have tough situations often.

not exactly
but the umpires should try their best to keep the decision to themselves
but in certain close calls , i feel its better to refer it to the 3rd umpire
this would also take some pressure off them and bring out more accurate results
even the players would be a lot happier with this use of technology

They will be free from some delicate situations.Still they have to be ever vigilant to declare no balls, wides, leg byes and not the least counting of legitimate balls delivered. Not so easy as to be called a dummy.
Don't forget that they have to evade some full blooded shots too.
