You know he's let a few male interns into his pants. Just because he hasn't been caught with his pants down, does anyone actually believe that Dubya is the saint he pretends to be? If Republicans actually believe that, it just proves how idiotic and naive they really are. I'm willing to bet that the majority of U.S. Presidents have cheated on their wives. But just because Dubya is seen in church once a week means that he is clean? Give me a break. He's a baby killer and supports capital punishment - how "Christian" are those beliefs? "Con"servatives would be comical if they didn't make me so sick. At least Democratic politicians who cheat around don't claim to be good Christian men.

OMG, you guys are so hilarious! I was wrong, Republicans are actually that gullible! Says in sissy voice: "My Dubya would never cheat on dear Laura. He's a Christian you know, he reads the Bible every day." LOL! Haven't you guys ever heard of Thomas Jefferson or Kennedy? Presidents of all parties have cheated throughout the ages. All bigwig politicians have their whores because they can.

I really haven't given it any thought, nor do I care. So long as he doesn't lie before a grand jury, he'll be just fine.
I'm a conservative who doesn't allow Christianity to enter into my views and ideology when it comes to politics. :)

Interesting how the subject of fidelity was important to Republicans evaluating the previous President.
Answer to your question: yes, Jeff Gannon, before being exposed as a fraud journalist (or would you rather believe the Secret Service is THAT incompetent to otherwise allow a male prostitute being that close to the President?) and Condy Rice. Laura checks into the Mayflower, being hurt by all of this, but returns to keep up appearances.
All of this is ok with me if Bush was a competent President.
Infidelity does show a guy has the energy to go after all of the other stuff, to be in situations where he is less than truthful and candid. So it's be a basic qualification to being President.

First, a statement: I hate George Bush. I think he is the worst President in my lifetime, and one of the five worst in all our history.
That said, I do not know, nor do I care if he has been faithful to his wife. His fidelity (or lack thereof) has no effect on his ability to govern--which is the reason I thought the whole Lewinski ordeal was so absurd.
Oh, and being "Christian" or not has nothing to do with it either. I've seen people from atheists to pagan pantheists (yes, including Christians) who were utterly faithful, and people from the same religious affiliations who were shameless philanderers.

Oh come on. I'm a liberal and I think this is a ridiculous question. We have a war in Iraq that is killing hundreds of thousands We have GOP that is as corrupt as you can get and a Democratic party that keeps giving away the family store and home to the right wing and you have to ask this question?

No president has been a saint. We really shouldn't expect them to be. Some people believe that the better the man they are, the worse the president.

Look just because your man cheats on you doesn't mean that all men do. I'm 50 and I've NEVER cheated on any of my women but I can't say I never cheated WITH other guy's women.

Why would George W. Bush cheat on Laura? PResident Bush is a Christian Conservative who relies on his faith to get through life and he makes a lot of his decisions on his faith in God. Also, President Bush understands that committing adultry is WRONG and he reads his bible everyday.

I don't believe he has. Bush may be incredibly misguided, but he strikes me as genuinely sincere in his beliefs. (For the record, I'm a libertarian and I probably dislike Bush more than most Democrats).
