The Democratic Party was waiting for orders from their general. Since the release of his new tape, they know what they have to do. The only thing standing in their way is that pesky President Bush.

There is no connection. Bin Laden wants the U.S out of the middle east because he's tired of seeing his people suffer at the hands of an empire. Democrats are part of that empire and have helped create it. The dems now want the U.S troops out of Iraq because it is costing American lives, tax dollars and more violence in that country. And, our country's infrastructure is literally falling apart and we're heading into a recession. It's the right thing to pull out of Iraq despite what bin Laden is. What did Iraq have to do with 9/11? NOTHING. And, why should Iraqi families be made to suffer for the crimes of bin Laden and al qaeda? And, why is Bush failing so miserably in Afghanistan?

I wasn't aware that bin Laden wanted the troops out.
But if he does then I would presume it was because he doesn't like Westerners and Christians etc being on Iraqi turf. I think bin Laden is wanting to wage a war on infidels etc because he doesn't like them because of what he thinks they stand for in his eyes and also because of the blood that has been spilled and the injustice he feels has occurred.
The Democrats probably have a number of good reasons for wanting the US troops coming back home again. The occupation is starting to take a huge human and financial toll and I suppose many of them just don't think it's worth it or that it will achieve any significant worthwhile results in the long term.

Actually, bin Laden is probably FOR the Iraq war, although he would publicly deny it. The war gives him unlimited ammunition to attack U.S. policy.
The Democrats are for a withdrawal for many reasons. I'm not Democrat, but I can think of one REALLY good reason to withdraw.
Money.
Why should we continue to spend hard earned tax dollars in a country that is halfway around the world? I'm talking about over half a trillion dollars that could be used for a great many other things. Whatever your political agenda, you have to admit that half a trillion is a VERY large amount of cash. If you would indulge me, just spend a moment or two thinking of other ways we could have toppled this government without direct warfare, such as an assasination attempt or funding a civil war. This was poor foriegn policy, pure and simple. There were many choices, as far as bringing down this regime. Outright war was the most expensive and least logical.

And about 70% of the American people. Many politicians, by nature, will support the President, if they are of their same party (there are exceptions.) Therefore, I am not surprised that most GOP Congressmen continue to support the President, even though a strong majority of Americans don't support continued action.
Democrats, for the time being, are exempt from this unwritten rule, since Bush is a Republican.
I can think of three GOP Congressmen off the top of the top of my head who want us out -- Sens. Gordon Smith & Chuck Hagel, and Rep. Ron Paul.
I won't have to address why bin Laden wants us out, since that should be obvious, not that he has much say as to what's happening in Iraq.

He didn't say he wants us to withdraw. He said the democrats have failed to accomplish that. He also was concerned for his Muslim brothers in Iraq. He would like nothing better than for us to stay in Iraq until we go broke. Why do you think the terrorists are there keeping things stirred up? We need to zero in on him and his training camps and wipe out those poppy fields that are funding the Taliban and terrorism.

True the Dems. want out of Iraq... but as for bin laden i'm not sure he wants us out of Iraq even though he says he does because of the fact once out of Iraq we can devote more resources to catching him. Plus it gives him something to complain about.

who said he does anyway hes protected in Saudi Arabia right now by the Saudi royal family who gave the bushes 100 million dollars so the question you should be asking is why havent the republicans captured the man responsible for the deaths of thousands on U.S. soil? I'd be happy if a democrat caught him too but they didnt say they would.

well for one the democrats are doing it to appeal to the people that they are anti war and therefor get more votes in 2008. Pretty much its all an incentive to get people on their sided ( such as moms and fathers who have kids on the war) and bin laden of course he wants to get the power he had back on his hands.

Why would Bin Laden want the US out? Thats his main recruiting tool.
Only US corporations making big money on the war and the politicians that represent their interests (Bush, for example) want the US to stay.
And the mindless Bush followers, of course.
