This may sound hard to believe, but throw used (after you make a pot of coffee) coffee grinds in a hefty bag with the clothes overnight.

Then wash the next day in detergent. The coffee acts to neutralize the smell and absorbs the odor.

It works!

Wash them a couple times if you have to. I'd recommend washing them by themselves....you don't want the smell to transfer to other clothes in the wash. Use a slightly higer concentrate of detergent than you normally would, and use smell good dryer sheets when drying.

I have used a little vinegar in the wash to get rid of smells. or try ammonia, this works for almost any smell anywhere. Just add either one of these to your laundry and wash it in hot water, but don't use them both at the same time.

Of course make sure you have the cloths rinsed off and then pour apple cider vinegar on them then wash with it in the wash cycle and rinse cycle, they wont smell like vinegar either.
