If I flushed the toilet whilst running a bath my mum used to say "dont do that it uses the water out of the toilet". What she actually meant was that the water coming from the tank would be used to flush the toilet and it used to make the bath run slower, and the flush take ages, but I took it that she meant the water out of the toilet would go into my bath! And it took me years to realise my mistake!!

my mom once told me that if i misbehaved id have to go live in a nursing home. and nursing homes terrified me. i have like 5 went i went to one for the first time and all the old people scared me..i have no problem with nursing homes now but back then..whew
then when i was a little older my aunt told me that if girls picked their noses their butts would fall off. (im serious) and i totally believed her.

His name was Black Wullie, and he used to look through the letterbox to check you were going to bed? apparently if you through pepper through the letterbox he went away???WTF??????
Obviously I used to run like hell up the stairs to bed throwing pepper as I went! LMAO
