Best temperature for colors:

1) cold water for wash & cool for lightly soiled clothes

2) warm wash w/ cool rinse for clothes that are a bit more dirty

I put in a Shout Color Catcher cloth whenever I wash reds & pinks. For product information: http://www.shoutitout.com/preserve-colors.aspx

I always wash my colors in cold water, and dry them on low heat. It helps with bleeding, fading and shrinking. I also use the clorox bleach for colors... It helps keep the colors bright and helps prevent bleeding... ok I sound like a commercial now... thats all I know!

cold only. keeps things from shrinking too. and always wash red by itself the first 3 or 4 times.

Cold. Wash everything in cold except for whites, linens, and occasionally towels. Hang them up to air dry and they will shrink less and maintain their color longer.
