The Dolphins finished 16-0 once, has anyone ever finished 0-16?

I know the questioned has been answered (Tampa Bay went 0-14 in their first season, and I believe they also lost the first 12 games the next year. No team has ever gone 0-16), but I wanted to quote the Tampa Bay coach, John McKay, who when he was asked how he felt about his team's execution on offense, replied "I'm in favor of it".

No, no team has ever finished 0-16.

But YES, a NFL team has had a winless season; the 1976 Bucs went 0-14 back when the season was 14 games long.

A number of teams have gone 1-15, including the 1990 Patriots, 2000 Chargers, and 2001 Panthers.

The Detroit Lions went 0-11 in 1942, the Arizona Cardinals when they were in Chicago in 1943 went 0-10, the Dallas Cowboys went 0-11-1 in 1960 and the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers went 0-14 in 1976.

Without researching this due to time, i believe that maybe The New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay came close just from my memory.

The Saints fans used to wear bags on their heads because of their teams poor play.

When the Bucaneers were in the same division as the Bears they had some pretty bad years.

When Tampa Bay started out they lost over 20 games in a row before finally winning one.
