Chem help!!! Would it be correct to say that a molecule where one part dissolves in water and one part sticks?

out is "half hydrophillic, half hydrophobic?"

Amphipathic. Part of an amphipathic molecule is polar (soluble in water - hydrophilic) and part is non-polar (not soluble in water but soluble in lipids - hydrophobic). So, any molecule that has both hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties is amphipathic.
