I can't stand college football.
High scoring offense, no defense, hate the overtime rules, no playoffs, hate BCS ranking since not all teams can be in it.

I actually think you are wrong. I find college football to be much more entertaining. College football does a few things better than the NFL.
First off, fans in college football have a huge impact in the game by the level of noise they make, this rarely happens in the NFL. Second, unlike the NFL, emotion actually exists. A pretty crappy college team can get extremely worked up and end up beating a top ranked team that they have no reason to be hanging with. You rarely see this in the NFL. Also, players in college tend to have more love for the game and less love for money and it shows. There are no TO's or Chad Johnson's in college. Overall I just find college to be more competitive and actually about the game of football. There is also a lot more tradition in college.

College football is not worse than the NFL; it is just different. College football is more raw, because most of the players are not good enough or dedicated enough to move on to the NFL. They are not playing for a paycheck or for a more prestigious contract as a free agent. They are playing purely for the love of the game. I like that aspect of college football much more than the NFL.

Did you see Georgia Vs. South Carolina?
Week 3 and Georgia is nearly out of their division race and out of Top Bowl contention! The NFL doesn't have that! you can start 0-4 in the NFL and catch fire finish 9-3 get lucky make the playoffs and have the ball bounce right and win a Superbowl!
Week to week the college games mean more! The action on the field can only measure up if you have two great teams on the field.

College football is more wide open and exciting. You're more likely to see huge upsets in college football. It's the only place you can see teams run the triple option and the only place you'll see teams go into triple overtime. The NFL rarely has games in which a team can break 50 points, but in college, you have scores like 3-0 and 63-56. The NFL is generally grounded in conventional wisdom, you hardly ever see trick plays, fake punts, fake field goals, etc, which in my opinion, makes it pretty boring. And the NFL's overtime method is weak.

I'm a fan of both, but college football beats out the NFL. College football is far more exciting with richer tradition, crazier plays, harder hits, bigger stadiums, better rivalries, more teams, and even a quicker game. It isn't whether a state can afford to have an NFL team, but it is just the plain out difference of rules and wide variation of talent. It is your opinion, but the majority of football fans will lean towards college football as the better of the games. It isn't playing for paychecks, but loyalty and a future. Playing for your school, your area, and your chance at a national title.

Well I think the NFL is better because they are on an EQUAL level. That is why the biggest College games are the Bowl games where the teams are usually supposed to be even. Since this is the first two weeks of most college football I have to ask how many want to watch a Big name program play a Cupcake.

That's imbecilic. It's just the opposite. College football is 1000000000000 times better than the lame NFL because it has more heart and spirit.
You are either an old person or a dolt.
No defense? Did you see the LSU-VT game last night?
Where the f**k do you think the NFL athletes come from?

SEC schools on have NFL teams?? LSU and the Saints... UF in the same state as the Bucs and Dolphins... UGA in the same state as the Falcons... Vanderbilt is in the same state as the Titans... and to the idiot that said "more pay, bigger fields and bigger crowds." yes the NFL pays more cause college doesnt but the field is the same size from high school to the pros and the crowds in big time college football is WAY bigger than any NFL stadium... the atmousphere blows the NFL games away aswell... the Big House in michigan seats over 110,000... Tennessee's Neyland Stadium holds 107,000... OSU holds 101,000 and there are MANY schools in the 90,000's... while the largest NFL stadium is 92,000 in Landover Maryland

Everyone is faster, stronger, and bigger in the NFL harder hits happen and more fights:D Also there are about 10 teams that are decent every year in the NCAA. In the NFL bigger upsets occur and a new team could arise from their draft. Another reason is that rookie starters are extremely exciting to watch just this five QB's were rookies who started. In the NCAA there arent too many true freshman starters

Better in what sense???
There's hundreds of College teams.
How many more Pro ones would you like to see?
A state has no bearing on whether there's a Pro team there.
