I'm lukn 4 a film that will disturb me in some way. i'm generally disappointed if a horror film dnt make me sic or creepd out. i would prefer world cinema cos i think they dont hold back on violence and are generally considered more disturbing. Jus got Audition and i'll let ya know if i find it disturbing.

The reason I'm asking this is cos i find it really difficult 2 get disturbed by movies and i was wonderin if ne1 had ne suggestions which mite change that.

Though there are a lot of boring and pointless scenes, Hostel 1 and 2 disturbed me greatly. The torture scene where the woman bathed in her victim's blood in the 2nd one got me extremely disgusted.

1. The First SAW film
- It's the only hollywood thriller that scared me. As I felt it could actually happen.
2. A Tale of Two Sisters
- you can find this in your foreign section at Blockbuster. It's a crazy good Korean thriller get the 2003 version.
3. I haven't seen these but I hear their good. The original versions of "The Ring" and "The Grudge" (their the Japanese versions). I would check out the Japanese thriller flicks, as they make some fantastically creepy weird thrillers. I mean take a look American directors are remaking flicks of their's!

I found it so disturbing because everyone said it is a fabulous movie and I've only fallen asleep during two movies in my life. This one and The Bodyguard. What disturbs me is that so many people consider BB a cult classic when I find it to be awful. But that is not even the most disturbing part -- the most disturbing part is they made another one in 2002. Now that is disturbed. The Bodyguard should never have been filmed. Anyone who likes this movie I find disturbing.

I generally don't get disturbed by movies, either. The first two I found very disturbing, but the first one because I read the back and thought, this sounds cool. Then I watch the movie and at the end, it tells you everything that happened was true.

Exorcist was the first horror movie I ever saw. It still grosses me out, so I guess you can call it disturbing.

I heard The Crying Game http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104036/ and American Beauty http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0169547/ were disturbing. I saw AB and didn't find it disturbing at all. Never even want to see Crying Game. A lot of people have said Ed Wood with Johnny Depp http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109707/ is disturbing. I haven't seen it.

Horror/Slasher films are not disturbing, just gross.

The most disturbing film to me that I can think of was
"Christana F". It is a German film..

Natja Brunckhorst stars as the titular character in this obscure 1980s drama based on the true experiences of 14-year-old Christiane Felscherinow, an impressionable German teen whose relative boredom led her to embrace a life of drugs and prostitution. An authentic period soundtrack includes songs by rock star David Bowie, who also performs live in the film. Uli Edel (Last Exit to Brooklyn, Body of Evidence) directs.

The Devils Rejects
Hostel 1 and 2
The Hills Have Eyes.

I could have gone without seeing any of these movies, pretty disturbing stuff in all of them.

MARK OF THE DEVIL (1970)
http://www.eccentric-cinema.com/cult_movies/mark_devil.htm

When I first saw this film in 1970 they gave out 'barf' bags to the audience.

What made this movie so disturbing to me wasn't the graphic footage of violent torture of witches but that this was historically accurate, they used real torture devices in the movie and depicted what was actually done to innocent men, women, and children for over 250 years of European history. Now that's disturbing!
