No, I do not like Edie Ann or Edie Rose. Edie is ok as a nickname, but not as a formal name.

I like Edie Ann, but not Edie Rose.
For those who are old enough to remember, however, there is a character played by comedienne Lily Tomlin. I found this on TV Acres.com (there's a picture on the site if you're interested under Edith Ann's Rocking Chair):
On the comedy variety series ROWAN & MARTIN'S LAUGH-IN/NBC/1968-73 comedian Lily Tomlin played a devilish five and a half year old little girl named Edith Ann. Ms. Tomlin in her role of Edith sat on a jumbo-sized rocking chair that made her adult-sized body look like a little girl's. Rocking her chair Edith Ann would tell childish stories about her family and her dog Buster. When she concluded a point she said "And that's the truth" and sputtered her tongue as she gave the audience the raspberry.
Your name reminds me of that.

Isn't Edie a character on Desperate Housewives? I like the name as a ickname for Eden, or gosh even Edith, but I don't think it's a very good first name for someone that will one day be an adult.
