My fiancee and I plan on moving to Vietnam after we get married. We are considering starting up a small business (coffee shops are extremely popular) there. I'm doing my research while working towards my MBA, but if anyone knows some resources as far as how much money we should start plan on starting off with, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!!

Make sure you can first of all. Most Asian countries have strict rules about property ownership, business ownership and the like.

Unless one of you is a national of that country of course.

Coffee business and equipment should not exceed ten to fifteen thousand to start.
Starbuck convince their share holder that it would cost $500,000 to start one starbuck
Coffeeshop in US can be sold as high as 1.2 million as bankrupcy one

There is really no ground shere is your business need to be, MBA student, should start with you BP, then your plan should spell out all the cost and details include "know how" Try it and let me know if you like to discuss further.
