I dont i hate mine! okay so today i was watching fuse. and my mom come down stairs and i am keeping to myself and she flips out! she is like kayla get that garbage off of the TV. she was like those people look like they are dressed like halloween. then she put a block on that channel so now i cant watch it. i am like sooo frekin pissed!

also then she took me to the mall for my b-day yesterday and we went to HotTopic. and she just started crying in the middle of the store and was telling the guy who worked there look at what your store has done to my little girl!

no she cant except the way i dress or my style.. so i got side bangs and she was like what is up with that only ugly people get them... ahhh i just cant take it.. all the negitiveness. (is that even a word?)

i like my parents..but sometimes they can get on my nerves.....sux that you cant watch fuse now.......
edit:(crying in hottopic?) it seems like your mom cant except the way you dress.......my dad doesnt like the way i dress either...and he's constantly asking me if i can see, because my bangs are covering my left eye, then he goes as far as walking around holding his hand over his left eye.......

I'd LIKE to like my parents. I dont hate them, but...
We've been through alot, and we dont get along. They arent the best parents, but they try. My mom is an odd combination of smothering & neglectful. My dad just doesnt give a crap.
And no, its not the typical teenage "I'm mad at my parents" bit. They just never should have had children, espeacilly together!

Cant wait til I'm 18!! I may even move out before them. Its tough living with him. He hardly ever buys food, and hes a real *ss. Plus many other problems...But I prefer him over my mother. Ha, but you dont need/want to hear all my crap!
Your mom just sounds concerned. No doubt I'd get pretty frusterated if she blocked off my beloved Fuse! I'd be so embaressed if that happend to me (the thing in Hot Topic)
At least she cares...You have to let her know this is just who you are, nobody "did" this to you (unless your a poser, but I dont think you are) This is just the life that speaks to you. Would she rather that you bought into the wh0rey prep scene?

As a teenager, my parents had some rules such as chores done before TV goes on and at times I hated the rules- but always loved my parents.
Now I am one and am probably more lenient- but still expect the chores to get done.

my dad and I never got along very well, but I didn't hate him. He died a few years ago at 92. My mom is the most awesomely wonderful mom ever and she is almost 90 now!

Yeah but my dad doesn't really treat me good. Like my mom we can be friends and talk and stuff and then when I do something bad she turns into mom. But my dad he is always like I AM YOUR DAD BOW DOWN BEFORE ME! He really isn't a bonding person.

i do like them.but they arent nice all the time.
at least you have hot topic and fuse.i dont have that here.parents are irritating.but living in a country where we dont get kool stuff sucks even more

well i love my parents, but they can get aggrivating... i think my mom thinks i'm becoming more "scene" because i listen to some "emo" music, and she told me she hates my hair! lol my dad doesn't care what music i listen to, but my mom thinks that if i listen to "emo" music i'll become an "emo" and she's always asking me to do everything for her... but she's going through some hard times right now, and i'm always there for her, and i love her anyway :)
