Wonrei in the Manga?

I was wonder is Wonrei from Zatch Bell died in the manga cuz i know he died in the anime so i was curious if it happened in the manga too.

Wonrei doesn't die but he goes back to the demon world during the fausto arc. And the anime has been following the manga pretty closely but at the end, the anime made a fake ending for episode 150 in which Zeon loses to Gash.
