Congratulations! You're now a member of the exclusive $100 club. I found a $100 bill once in front a construction site after hours, and so did a good friend of mine when he was in Las Vegas. The only woman standing near you said no, so the money is yours, free and clear. No need to feel bad about it. Enjoy. :-)
P.S. I'm glad there's an honest soul in this world with a conscience. I think you deserve $100 for being a nice guy. :-)

Nah don't feel bad. Even if you had taken it to the police, the owner would need to know the serial number on the bill to claim it. Most people don't write things like that down. Most likely, it would have gone unclaimed and ended up right back in your hands.

You are definately more honest than most.. and I'm sure whoever actually lost it would appreciate your effort. Like others have said.. be proud of yourself..
If you really feel all that guilty about it, donate it to a charity...
You're a good person

You shouldn't feel bad. It's not like you found a wallet and took the money out of it.
You seem like a really honest person and you should be proud of yourself.
Look at it as a smile from your good friend "Karma"!!

I wouldn't feel bad, there is no way to return it to someone without everyone coming out of the woodwork trying to take it when it wasn't theirs.
It would be different it it was in a wallet that had i.d.

I think you should feel some guilt , personaly i'd have given it to a charitable cause but then i'd have no way of prooving it since I didn't find the $100.

My advice: accept your good karma.
You are obviously a good person: you did the right thing by trying to find the money's rightful owner.
What more can you ask of yourself?
