Jurgen (Yur-gen)

Ryce
Absynthe (this is a halucinogenic drink, but it IS an odd name!)

have fun!

oh, you could spell Vane with a W - Wane, and pronounce it Germanically

Sorry to say it but I agree about Bane (spelling any way) not being a very sharp name for a person. It's a good name for a fighting dog (actually it was the name of the mastiff that mauled and killed an adult woman unprovoked in San Francisco, a number of years ago). I might be able to deal with Beyn, but the sound still is very negative.

Vane, I'm afraid, sounds too much like "vain" for me to really endorse it; vanity is really an unmasculine concept. But I guess I could condone it if you spelled it just Vane, or even Vaen, if you like fanciful spellings. No other possible spellings would work in my opinion.

I'm partial to the name Draven, which seems to me to be roughly in the same category as Bane or Vane... kinda vampy and mysterious. Oh, and Tarn.

Bane is NOT a good name to name your child.
Here is the definition of the word BANE:

1. a person or thing that ruins or spoils
2. a deadly poison
3. death; destruction; ruin
4. Obsolete. that which causes death or destroys life
5. something causing misery or death; "the bane of my life"

What about Blaine?
