Try getting a color that matches your skin tone but has shimmer, and put that all over your eye lid. Then get a color that has a bit more of a bronze-brown color and put that in the crease of your eye with an "eye crease" brush. Then for under the outer brow pick a cream color with shimmer to brighten it up.
Line your eyes thinly with black eyeliner along the shape of you eye with a little more thickness when you get to the outer edges. (but not much) Dont do the under eyelid.
Remember not too much...i always wipe my brush off on my palm before I apply. It may not look like enough color when your putting it on but less is more. And keep stepping bck from the mirror so you can see the over all look with out going over board. You can always add more later.

Hi,
the mascara should be the last touch in makeup...
u can put the eyeshadow as line on the motional eye-lid only as begining, try the brown and black and dark blue, and the pink is not good for eyes, whatever the skin-color is..
try to read more in makeup magazines..

Try neutral colors. You are right pinks won't look good with your complexion. If you go into a department store ask someone at the make up counter to give you a make over. They will also suggest colors for you. They will usually do it for free.

Skin tone is a key consideration. You want makeup colors that match your skin tone. Here's how to determine yours:
Warm skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.
Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
2. Silver jewelry is more flattering.
If you have a warm tone - consider dark navy & coffee brown eyeliners, and warm champagne colors for eye shadow.
If you have a cool tone- consider an intense gray eyeliner. Try a sheer soft jewel tone eye shadow w/ a bit of shimmer (e.g. sheer amethyst).
Keep the eye design simple for now. Start w/ a single shadow color or eyeliner & mascara. As you get confident, then try both eyeliner & mascara.
Later, experiment with more sophisticated eye shadow looks - e.g. a shade for the lid, one to contour the eye & one to highlight the brow bone.

you should go to a department store and go to the make up counter to have them put some on you ... the best I found was Bobbi Brown, the girl who did my make up was awesome, she matched skin tones and brought out my eyes with the eye shadow, stay away from MAC, you will look like a cheap hooker from there.
I have dark hair, light eyes but very pale ... my two colors were a pale shell and dark brown to enhance my eye color and make my eyes pop (so you notice your eyes)
good luck!!

When you wear eye shadow, it is important that you wear the opposite of your eye color. Like if you have blue eyes you wear brown eye shadow, if you have dark eyes the opposite, blue. I have Hazel eyes so I wear blue, brown pretty much every color. Mabe even green would work for you.
Wet 'n Wild brand eye shadow has alot of colors, and on the back of the little cases you buy them in it has directions on how to put it on and even what color eyes it goes best with. I hope I helped. Good Luck!

Well it depends on your eye color. But i thik that going with some golden tones will really make your complection pop. also use a good maskara that doesnt make your lashes as thick but makes them look longer and more real. Just by doing that, that wont make you look cheap.also a rosey cheek would put your look together. I hope that helps. Good Luck!!!

well first of all try to use colors that go with your complexion maybe a brown/gold/sand? make sure you blend everything and try to look as natural as possible. make sure you use a good base (i use urban decay primer potion) and then add a little mascara and you should be good to go =]
