Makes the rest of the candidates look like typical white, middle-aged, out of touch racists. I absolutely love it that we still have politicians who know how to be hip and cool with other cultures; and frankly how can you ignore the hispanic vote?
Any politician who is white and cannot relate to all Americans should be automatically rejected for running. I want a bilingual President and that should be mandatory.
People who complain are all racists and I hope that one day we have some kind of forced education requiring all white people to learn Spanish, and speak it every now and then. Maybe one of of day week or something, everyone needs to speak Spanish, so you'd have to too. Also, public schools teaching Spanish in high school is not enough. We need required learning for adults too.
Anyone else think this would be great? I think its a great next step in the right direction.

Bush campaigned in Spanish also, he is bi-lingual. He actually speaks Spanish better than English. Does that make you happy?

Why would you want multiple required languages within a single country? It just complicates things, interferes with open communication, and hinders business. In Europe, almost every country teaches English as the default business language.
Most countries have a national language and English happens to be America's (although at one time Congress had to vote whether English or German was going to be the language).
Wanting to change it to Spanish makes no sense when a majority of the world uses English for international trade and business already.
Are you smoking crack? This kind of attitude by foreigners in an another country will only net you more resistance to your presence.

That is BS. I am Hispanic from NM where richardson is from and he gives us a bad name. Its not about the hispanic vote anymore, most people from NM dont want richardson to be president because he wants to take care of illegals and not us real americans. I dont know how he even puts us in the same category as mexicans. Most New Mexicans are not related to or considered to be mexican most of us are descendants of the spaniards.
