Assuming popularity's not a factor, I love them all. ;) Especially Rhys (love that you changed to that spelling) and Owen!

I do prefer Jack as a nickname, but it's partly based on personal experience. I have an Uncle Jack, and he's always hated it. Not the name itself, mind you ... it definitely suits him. ;) He just gets very annoyed when people ask him what his "real" name is or when he has to fill out official forms (where they often assume it's supposed to be John and instruct him to change Jack to his "formal name" LOL). He's even had hassles and mix-ups with his credit, insurance and other such things where it's simply assumed that Jack is a nickname. For instance, a doctor or hospital might "correct" it to the formal John, thereby ensuring his insurance will NOT cover the bill (LOL), things of that nature. It just seems worthwhile to give the child a more formal full name -- even if it's not John, there are others Jack works for -- no matter how often you plan on actually using it. Never hurts to have the option, know what I mean? ;)

I love Owen, Samuel, and Jack. Rhys is very nice as well. Jack can be it's own name or a nickname. It's used a lot on it's own nowadays! You have fabulous taste in names, Good Luck!

I LOOOOOVE them all. Especially Rhys! Owen, Samuel and Jack have become somewhat common again, but I still love them :) Jack can certainly be a name on its own. And it's very cute! Good luck!

I like Owen the best. Yes, Jack can be a name and not a nickname - it's completely up to you. My Dad's name is Dan and not Daniel....

I like Rhys the best and Owen second best.

The other two are fine but I've heard too many of them and they've worn out their interest for me.

Jack ROCKS! It can definitely be the whole name, not just a nickname for John.
