Reagan wasn't a true conservative. I don't know why Republicans adored him so much, is something I would never understand. He basically allow this problem to continue, now that Bush does it Repubicans also give him a free pass! Yet, they only blame Democrats for amnesty. How funny.

Reagan believed that the laws about immigration would be enforced after that. But no, America has been ACLU-ified, whereby the law means nothing when it comes to anyone other than majority peoples, which in US's case happens to be Caucasians.

Had Reagan seen the future of all the lawbreaking, he would have done would Shakespeare said - he would have shot all the lawyers.

The ACLU is principally responsible for this. The ACLU is a hideous, putrid organization that is responsible for the cultural stink this country now emanates

Either he was naive or he wanted more Hispanics to vote for him.

Tancredo, Ron Paul, and Hunter have the most conservative voting records on immigration.

Of these three, Ron Paul has the best chance of winning the Primary election.
Paul's campaign has almost 5 times as much money to spend as Tancredo.

For the same reason Bush wanted to - it is good for business.

Don't you know that this is the United States of Business, not the United States of America?

Of course as a Republican he was pro big business, and the aliens would help them to pay lower wages to all their workers, and raise their profits. It also gave encouragement for even more to show up in hopes it would happen again. Hey like a lot of his doings (or undoings if you prefer) have come to fruition!

Get your facts straight... the Congress was supposed to pass and enforce new border security and immigration laws.... *they* didn't fulfill their part of the bargain.

Reagan was already mentally disabled at that time. He barely understood his whereabouts.

The question is: why Giuliani, being clean and sober, supports illegals?
