Hardly any transferred except for Ravage in Beast Wars, as far a I know. He was the cassette in G1 and they made him a regular robot in Beast Wars. Bumblebee was never transferred and those were completely different characters. In Beast War it started a completely new series and the only homage at the beginning was the name sakes for Primal and Megatron II, in the beginning. But do to the popularity and some fan influence they made the characters to be the descendants of the original Transformers series and made it tie in as a possible future for the original.

As far as the incarnations after Beast Wars/Beast Machine they are their own alternate universe. Armada/Energon/Cybertron being a trilogy. Most of the original characters transferred other than some of their name sakes in each interpretation. The only others I have seen transfer where Fortress Maximus and Ruination in RID, Red Alert Armada-Cybertorn, Scavenger Armada, and Scorpanok Energon as far as being closest to there original character in design.

Transformers live action movies as really good. For a property that was pretty young adult friendly, the movies are shockingly violent. They also feature characters that can be really, really dumb and plots that don’t really make sense. But the action scenes, brief as they can be, are usually pretty exciting. And the basic idea of transforming robots never gets dull. Still, the actual Transformers seen in the four live action films run the gamut from fun and accurate to racist and depressing.
