I have a small portion on my vagina that itches and sometimes will swell up. It has finally went away but sometimes still itches there. What could it be?

You should defiantly consult a doctor. Or check out webmd.com. They have a good full body symptom checker. It is very helpful.

That has happend to me a few times and all i do is try to wash where it itches at least 1-3 times a day and i almost always wear jeans to school so as soon as i come home i change into some clothes that are really comfertable and just wait like about 5-8 days and it goes away

so nothing serious

You could possibly have a yeast infection. Check with your doctor, especially if there is a whitish discharge. It's a good idea to see your doc anyway, in case there is another type of infection or problem.

If it swell up and itches again put some cream on the area.I don't think its serious.

It might be a Yeast infection. This is a popular occuring infection that occurs in women. To see for sure you might want to go visit a OB/GYN.

Could be a bartholin cyst. These tend to open and drain then return. Best to see the doctor about it.

If you shave there it could just be some irritation of the skin

If your having sex you could be alleric to latex, N-9 (spermicide), and or sperm of that person...

external yeast infection. there's a cream you can get to cure it.
