Can I take a bus from Massachusetts to California?

I'm in MA and I want to get to CA, but I can't find any buses that travel that far (reasonably), and I can't take a plane because I don't want to go through all that technical nonsense.

Suggestions?

Greyhound would cover that distance. It would take about 3 days and cost $200; $100 if you get ticket in advance (7 days or 14 days).
You might also want to consider Amtrak, it's more comfortable and pleasant for that long of a trip.
Depending on what city in MA and where in CA, Amtrak would cost between $500 and $600 and take 3-4 days.
