Showing a dead body in a casket for peole to view...I always thought that was a little strange. I'm glad I believe in an afterlife. Our body's just a shell. Once we die, our soul, our "true" self, goes to eternity. So what's the point of showing the dead body?

When a Seniwan is on his or her deathbed, he or she will tell all their secrets to friends and family in attendance. This gives them information to protect themselves against their enemies. It's an old tradition, (about 1100 years) but is not widely practiced today.

Blowing out all the candles on a birthday cake so you're secret wish will come true. I don't know anyone who had their wish come true from blowing out all the candles unless their wish was to be able to blow out all the candles.
