Terrorists are a group of haters.

And I don't mean normal haters. Normal haters are just there to drag you down. Terrorists just straight up want you dead. They don't care about what kind of person you are, they don't care if you have a family, they don't even care that you buy the oil they sell. They just want you full of bullet holes and inside of a body bag.

The short answer is No. You cannot stop terrorism with love.
